Megaton Feature Part 1
Nintendo + Capcom = Dukki
In our first part of this feature, we propose this: Nintendo has bought Capcom
and now holds the rights to all their past and future titles! This is one of
the most popular rumours about Nintendo's Megaton announcement, so we at GAF
have come up with what may possibly come out of a relationship such as Captendo.
After many days of tireless research and sleepless nights, we've come to only
one conclusion (for now anyway): Dukki. Dukki combines the perfect aspects of
Capcom's newest mech title, Steel Battalion (Tekki in Japan), and Nintendo's
old-fashioned favorite, Duck Hunt.
No, do not scoff at this, for we believe it to be the best of both worlds and
you'll see why. Steel Battalion, since its release, has grown to become a
favorite for many wealthy mech lovers. It provides near complete immersion
into the subject matter, which in this case is destroying mechs. However,
there's something lacking. After playing through many missions and destroying
nearly everything you see, you just don't have anything to take home with
you.
When you get home, what's the first thing you think about? A good home cooked
meal. And that's why we think Steel Battalion would do better when combined
with Duck Hunt, the game where one finds and kills their own food. In Dukki,
you are presented with one mission and one mission alone: search and destroy...
ducks. They're out there and they're not friendly. They will fly around the
screen in predictable patterns and all you have is a 40 foot mech to get your
meal.

For today's update, we've got a special treat for you: exclusive screenshots
and 3D renders from this wonderful new Captendo game. As you can see from our
first screen, you are first briefed with your current mission. Upon a
topographical map, you will see two types of duck locations. The white
locations mark areas where one duck will appear at a time. The red ducks
represent the twice as difficult sections where TWO ducks appear on the
screen...at the same time.

The next screenshot clearly shows part of a cinematic movie. In our modern era
of video gaming, we have the ability to create cutscenes that show what a game
would look like if we had more time and money to program it, which will make
the actual game, which usually looks remarkedly worse, seem so much better to
the average gamer. Dukki does not disappoint and includes this wonderful scene
showing the most annoying dog ever holding the player's two newest kills.

A collection of screenshots isn't complete without at least one gameplay
shot and we've got one for you. As can be clearly seen, a generation two
mech is facing off against a single duck. This particular duck is quite
ferocious and is one of the hardest kills in the game.

Lastly, we have a special treat for you. The developers of Dukki have included
two special 3D renders of the ducks themselves. These show the immense detail
these ducks have and that they look fantastic from all angles. Enjoy this,
for its once in a lifetime that a game like this will be made.
