I want to be in a podcast - who should I suck up to?
  1.
It used to be me. But I'm on temporary hiatus from the whole podcast thing until I get a new computer.

EDIT- Sorry, just testing out the BBCode option

Good question. We're working on possible solutions to the sudden lack of a professional audio environment. I imagine sometime in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully.

Garageband doesn't cut it without professional equipment?

I thought the GAFcast (screw off, NeoGAF) was already produced on Macs.

Justin's Mac is OS X 10.2. No GarageBand. No Skype. He needs to get out of 2003 and into the now!

10.2? Holy crap. Come on, guy. Time to upgrade. And time to do it soon, because if 10.2 is G3-era as I seem to associate it being, Leopard's going to phase you out.
  4.
10.2 is G4 era. I'm working on getting a new one. I just splurged on an HDTV with grad money. Next is a job, then a new computer.

It compels me a lot, yes. But what compels me more is a brand new Macbook Pro running 10.5 come October
  6.
I wondered where'd the podcast had gone. Ah well, we've got forums now! This fills me with inexplicable joy. Good luck saving up cash, Justin.

So, no podcast until next Spring, since you don't have the cash for that MBP? Damn.

Girly? Justin and Rich maybe, but Sam's 100% cynical gruff old man.

I'll bet he looks like a little kid. Maybe it's just me, but usually when you get rid of the beard, it's like shaving ten years off.

I wonder if Rich still has it? It's him and I think his wife, but before they got married, and I *think* he has one of those maestro stick things...

I mentioned this to Rich last night, but in case anyone wants to take any interest in it...

I have free and total access to my college radio station (my GF is news manager and her best friend station manager), so if you guys ever wanted to organize the webcast thing again we could do the recording there, I believe. It's a pretty decent setup.

Yeah, the podcast really needs to come back, professional equipment or no. Garageband is good enough to get something respectable up and running, and if voice "talent" is needed, I'm available as soon as I RMA my Logitech headset.

I'd be willing to join a videogame bitchfest too. Hell, it'd give me good motivation to go out and get a headset.

Heh, same, although I suspect I wouldn't have much to say on many of the games you'd talk about (since I'm not a FPS fan, nor a sports' game fan, and only like limited fighting games).
