I'm pretty sure that's because this Top 100 list was compiled and published before FF12's release. Unless Famitsu does this annually, that is.

I'm surprised Xenogears made it in the top 20!

I always thought it was poorly received in Japan. Guess I was wrong.

Wow, this list is really awful. 10 of the top 15 games are FF or Dragon Quest. Though that's hardly the only reason it's so bad. You know, you always hear about how Japanese have better taste in games than, say, Americans, because they buy fewer liscensed games and more artsy games, etc etc. But then I see a list like this, and I don't know what to think. Heh.

This list needs more cowbell.
