The Game Show Network, home to classic television game shows like
Press Your Luck, announced that it has attained the broadcast rights to two shows about video games.
Video games? On the Game Show Network? Makes sense, eh?
The two shows are the UK-developed
Game Sauce and
Gamer.tv.
Game Sauce will air twice weekly, focusing on previews, reviews, and tips for current and upcoming games.
Gamer.tv focuses on the world surrounding games, and noteworthy people involved in the game industry (keep your fingers crossed for an episode about GAF).
The network is also planning to develop a one-shot documentary focusing on videogames, which will air at an unspecified future date. Check your local listings to see when these shows are airing in your area, and if you don't have the Game Show Network, cal your local cable provider and ask for it.
