News - Namco reveals 4 unlockable Tekken 5 characters, screens included

Namco released details today on four unlockable characters in their upcoming
Tekken 5:
* Anna Williams – sister of Nina Williams
Fighting style: Assassination style martial art
* Baek Doo San – master of Hwoarang
Fighting style: Tae Kwon Do
* Roger Jr. – second-generation military kangaroo developed through genetic engineering
Fighting style: Commando wrestling
* Wang Jinrei – veteran heavyweight in native China
Fighting style: Xing yi liu he quan
And, since they're so thoughtful, they gave us some screens as well:
We'll also have a very nice individual photo of each character soon, but those are
really large for pictures, so they're still uploading.
Tekken 5 is scheduled to be released exclusively for Playstation 2 on February 22.

Beat-em-up plotlines should never be taken seriously... they never make sense, or have lots of plotholes.

This game looks a helluv a lot smoother in the arcade. Backgrounds are awesome too.

dave, this game is not Soul Calibur 2. Well, this game is Heihachi´s Zone but If you see the trailer... Maybe We can´t say that.

yes, most of those characters were 'killed' by toshin, but i guess when Jin beat true ogre, their fighting souls were returned to their bodies or something like that!

This looks interesting, though I haven't played/bought a Tekken since Tekken 3.
Weren't Baek, Wang, and some of the other Tekken 1 & 2 characters supposed to have been killed by Ogre in Tekken 3, or something?

No. In fact, you're awesome for knowing about the Kangaroo from Streets of Rage 2.
Kangaroos in video games are awesome. Roger Jr. is awesome.

I feel stupid for asking, but is Roger. Jr. supposed to be the offspring of the kangaroo from Streets of Rage? Or am I stupid?
