Wow. Who could have predicted that Tetsuya Mizuguchi & Masahiro Sakurai's ambitious DS puzzler would get two 9s and two perfect 10s? Hopefully we'll hear word of a US release date for this game soon, as it looks like this could be a huge title.
Great scores for
Namco/
Nintendo's mysterious
Pac Pix and
Capcom's PS2 action/adventure title,
Shadow of Rome as well. Overall, this issue had more ~30+ scores than usual.

Please ignore Famitsu's review of Ys VI. I think that Ys deserves a MUCH better rating than that... This is the best game I've played in years (and I have played a lot of games.) I like a lot of people have forgotten about fun factor, and music in video games, which Ys 6 excels at... The anime cinemas are beautiful too, just be sure to use the "cheat" (not really a cheat) to activate the anime cutscenes over the american cgi that konami implanted.

I'm guessing y's got such a bad score because it's such a bad port of the PC game, which came our prior. Just my 2 cents.

I think someone should wait until August to release Meteos so it doesn't get lost in the flood of DS games.

zomg, awesome, i luved the flash demo XD, the full game will be a blast for sure.
Also MMX8 recived a decent score, it might be worth playing.

Yes! I knew Meteos would be great, but didn't expect it score so high. The formula just sounds so different from anything else, and it will be a blast to play vs. Can't wait to get my paws on them.
