This game is not Budokai and it won't play like Budokai. This game is gonna be like the old ones just with shiny graphics like Budokai 3. The name only says Budokai Tenkaichi cuz it was voted as good name for the game. Well the name voted was Tenkaichi Budokai, they just messed it up. Remember the jap name for the game is Sparkling. This is only a guess but I bet it plays like Super Sonic Warriors with more moves.

I don't think I like that you don't appear to transform in battle... all the forms seem to be different characters...

the create a character feature is what i been looking for in a fighting game for the longest. ever since i was a little kid i been drawing my own DBZ characters, now i can put them into this game.

i can finally add my Heater (freeze's distant cousin) into this game.. this is clearly good times for me, and im definitly getting this game from a artist stand point!

From the videos I get the impression that they have totally destroyed the camera system. It's bouncing around like crazy, I bought Budokai 3 and it was a good game but now it seems the new developer has totally ruined this game.

The game is looking great, but if they only would keep the Japanese voice work in the US version (or at least make it optional).

I'm actually really impressed by the graphics. It looks like the cartoon alot. If gameplay is good, I might actually pick up a DBZ game =P

I also think Budokai 3 was awesome, as a DBZ fan game.

Luckily i'm one of those fans. So I spent hours on end, doing everysingle move against everysingle opponent several time while unlocking everything.

But it didn't help settle any of the balance issues and whatnot.

Dbz budokai 3 was an awesome game, lots of fun if you don't take fighting games seriously and u like the dbz franchise. the budokai series has been getting better each time they do one, and they seem to take alot of fan input hen making theses games.

i wonder if they will make the game system link compatable, or bring this game online, that would be alot of fun :)

The last one was good, but I'm worried about the split screen multiplayer on this one... just seems wrong.

Seems to me that they might actually be getting serious with this budokai game (aka trying to unsuckify it)

But of course when games pop up to 60 characters in a game they usually get crossover syndrome (named after capcoms need to make several characters identical, and alot of characters so sucky their unplayable.)

I have seen Chou Dragonball Z for the arcades and I think it's crap that we're getting another Budokai which will largely be the same as the last three, yet there's going to be one that will most likely kick butt that we won't ever get a chance to see.

This does look pretty good but have you guys seen the upcoming title Chou DragonBall Z for arcade? its also being produced by Noritaka Funamizu who produced Street Fighter II. The game will be shown next month at the 43rd AM Show in Japan.

It's about time they started using the kickass graphics engines. This might turn out good with the creation system, but SCIII's will wipe the floor.
