Namco revealed a few new tidbits out its upcoming
Tekken 5 revision,
Tekken 5:Dark Resurrection. Most importantly, the game will feature two completely new characters; Dragunov, a 'human weapon', and Lili, a dancer. The character customization will also be greatly expanded with loads of new clothing and accessories. A few magazine scans with pictures of the T5 logo and new characters can be found below.
Update: Found some better looking scans. These are from Japan's Arcadia magazine. Currently
Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection is only slated for release in Japanese arcades, but it is likely that this
Tekken 5 revision will eventually be available for consoles on both sides of the world.

Bizarre influences at play at Namco.
Recently deceased Lolo Ferrari was a porn star and singer (she was bad at singing) from the French Riviera (slap bang next to Monaco).
New Tekken Character Lili has a similar name, is supposed to be from Monaco and is also a singer
Strange coincidences perhaps, you decide.

Funny that Namco describe him as a "Human Weapon" and name him Dragunov which happens to be the name of a rather deadly Soviet sniper rifle.. way to go Namco.

Dragunov eh... well he looks funny...
Kinda like, you know, if Edward Scissorhands were a nazi...

Lili doesnt look like she can defend herself agaisnt the other girls of the tournament, we seem to know them more and they're more aggressive, Lili is nothing but that. Dragunov looks like he has a connection with Bryan Fury, same skin tone.

Also this game will be shown at the AM show that starts in a few days time (Septmber 1 - 3 day 3 is open to the public) aswell as the rumored Street Fighter 4 which will supposedly be running on Sammy's Atomiswave hardware! Sorry for being off topic.

I bet Dragunov fights like Brian Fury, good to see Xiaoyu making a return. LoL what do you guys think of Lee Chaolan' new outfit? the blond hair definitely makes a change from grey...

I like the nazi!
lilhawke: Of course they're releasing it. They're going to make an update based on the fact that the original did well, not the fact that you didn't like it.
On that note, Tekken 5 is awesome. Don't see how you could be disappointed since it's better than Tekken 4 in every way.

Lili is adorable. I'd buy this game if they release it for $20 like VF4Evo.

Yes, discount price is nice. It would justify myself buying T5 again. I didn't even switch to Street Fighter II Turbo from Street Fighter II back in the day because I'm a cheap ass.

Nothing like more women willing to fight in short skirts.
You'd think these people have never heard of pants, if she needs comfort she could wear sweats or something.
But I guess it's kind of a queer thing to complain about.
