It's the same with EA Sports of the Euro/World Cup editions of FIFA every two years, on top of the usual yearly one.

Haha. Face Training apparently was too weird for even the training fanatics of Japan.

But I'm surprised they're churning out Winning 11 games so much. It's like the Madden of Japan now.

They love football more though. :D

I hope the bugs in Forever Blue are fixed. It looks like exactly the sort of game I would love.

Hot Shots Golf 5!

I also love the fact that the Japanese love baseball to death!

SUCH A GREAT SPORT! Dammit!

Face Training:

I know that's not very in-depth, but it's something in case you haven't seen it.

So what is face training?

Just remembering faces or does it teach you how to make different ones?

The number of sports games on the chart still staggers. #'s 1, 3, 6, and 11 are basically all sports (of a sort). And this is Japan, for crying out loud! I've never seen that many all together.

And armageddon, just because Brain Age has been out for 117 weeks doesn't mean it has been on the charts the whole time. It gets pushed off periodically during big release weeks.

The ??? channel is like that on the Japanese Wii too, so it's not a problem of it being in Japanese. I know since I'm typing on my Japanese Wii right now.

Nice to see Phantom Hourglass and Wonderful World post decent numbers.

DQS' performance is probably due to the fact that it's not a full-blown RPG. I hear people are blowing through it in 10 hours and then reporting that it's no good.

It's not a huge surprise, really, I mean, who thought they would have a 30+ hour RPG ready less than a year after launch? It just doesn't happen.

"Do you know what the "???" channel is for? Does it has something to do with the "???" thing of Smash Bros.?"

No, but apparently the message is actually in japanese, but american wii's can't read it. I don't recall what the japanese message says, but I think Nintendo is working the problem.

For God sakes, MP8 is still up there! someone shoot it down already, why is DQS falling off the charts?

20. NDS - Brain Age - Nintendo - 117th week

so officially this has been on the charts for over 2 years, hmmm ...guess nintendo has their little cash cow there :)

Does anyone know if Smash brother brawl is wifi?

or some type of breast training, you know something I can get behind.

Cant wait for Phantom Hourglass and maybe It's a Wonderful World (any connection to the 1946 classic film?) finally blow that dust off my DS.

Man, they're coming up with all sorts of things to "train" with your DS, and I'll bet half the people who buy the games didn't know their face or eyes or butt needed training before the games appeared.

I should release "Belly Button Training: Train Your Navel in Minutes a Day."

Endless Ocean might pick up in sales. But, it might not. I suppose we'll see.

Also, Nintendo is fixing the glitch.

Phantom Hourglass needs to keep this top 5 performance up. 29,000 still seems low, though.

I'm not surprised with Forever Blue's low sales. The game has some really nasty game-breaking glitches. Word of mouth probably spread quickly.

Also it did seem pretty boring, though that kind of non-game seemed perfect for the Japanese market.

Forever Blue seemed to me like a game the Japanese would like

SPECIAL ADVERT:

For those who have already downloaded the most recent update for their Wii, let me ask you something: Do you know what the "???" channel is for? Does it has something to do with the "???" thing of Smash Bros.?

And another thing: it's cool that Nintendo now let us use a physical keyboard of any type to write un the Wii Message Board, but not in the Browser... hope they fix that for the next update.

Thanks.

Poor Forever Blue... and even with all the video promotions I saw for it in stores.

Nice to see Subarashiki kono Sekai isn't dropping off the charts yet.
