News - Marketing research firm reveals secrets of major game companies

Posted by Richard Brownell at 06:16:26 PM EST on 6.15.2008.

Marketing research firm Intellisponse may be getting into some hot water tomorrow morning when everybody gets into work. Thanks to a leak uncovered and reported by Xbox 360 Fanboy and NeoGAF forums, the world now has unrestricted access to confidential documents of companies ranging from Microsoft to Coca-Cola.

What this means for Intellisponse is unknown at this time, but at best their reputation is in trouble. At worst, they are facing litigation from some of the largest corporations in the world. What it means for you is that you have access to a lot of game company secrets. We'll be reporting on the most notable secrets in articles following this one, but we only wanted to explain the leak once.

Yeah, I don't know why people are neg karma-ing him for it. It's actually not all that uncommon to see big corporations investing in each other, even within the same markets. Toyota, for example, holds a large amount of stock in Subaru.

Sirsniffy isn't all that wrong. Sony is a sizable shareholder in Square-Enix's stock. They invested after Square blew all that money on "The Spirits Within".

I'm looking forward to seeing any leaks regarding Konami and Sega/Sonic Team.
