News - GameStop Expo: GBA Kingdom Hearts coming to US PS2

Reports out of the GameStop expo say that the PlayStation 2 port of the popular
Square-Enix GameBoy Advance title
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is on its way to the US.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was ported to the PlayStation 2 and released as part of a collection including a director's cut of
Kingdom Hearts 2 in Japan early last year.
This US release will reportedly just include the port of the GBA title and not the remixed version of
Kingdom Hearts 2 included in the Japanese package. It's expected to retail for $29.99.

polster - I liked CoM, though I'm not sure if I'd get it a second time.
Maybe! Getting new cards that were GOOD was a pain, though.

They released this in Japan years ago. This is merely a cash grab.

I'm disappointed we won't get to see Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + packed in with the PS2 Chain of Memories. :(

highlight of the show is the voice of mario saying lines behind a giant N64 esque mario head saying things like: "you shoulda see what i do to the princess at night!"
My boss walked by and laughed at him. The rest of the night whenever he walked by the giant head said "hey fat man, I gotta my eye on you!"

Because KH:CoM did not function well in 2.5D-ish settings.
And here, sales and critical reviews of KH2 were rightfully low, so it'll just be CoM.

I would've rather have them release KH2 Final Mix as the Greatest Hits version way back when that came out. Now? Who cares?

Well i'm happy that they're releasing it in the US but sad that it probably eliminates the last thread of hope that we'll see KH2 Final Mix released over here =/
