This past week, Nintendo's download services added a number of new games, from sequels to Domo-kun. WiiWare was expanded with two new games. One of them is the sequel to the critically acclaimed WiiWare title,
LostWinds,
LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias. In this game, Toku's wind powers are supplemented by power over the seasons while the player once again solves puzzles in a side-scrolling platform environment. It will cost you 1000 Wii Points ($10.00).
The other WiiWare game added last week was
Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem. From Hudson Entertainment,
Shootanto is a shooter where one or two players fires away at dinosaurs and other baddies in their quest to save the world. It sells for 500 Wii Points ($5).
The Virtual Console was updated with one of the great classics of the arcades from the 1980s,
Ryger. This Tecmo side-scrolling combat game will cost you 600 Wii Points ($6).
Lastly, DSiWare was updated with not one or two, but five games. They each carry a common theme, the lovable Domo-kun. Gamers can do bicycle racing in
Crash-Course Domo, climb to the top of a building in
Hard-Hat Domo, play golf in
Pro-Putt Domo, do some rhythm gaming in
Rock-n-Roll Domo, or go kayaking in
White-Water Domo. Each one costs 200 DSiWare Points ($2).
