News - Netflix streaming coming to PlayStation 3

Netflix streaming has been available on the Xbox 360 for quite some time now, but it's been rumored for a while that the PlayStation 3 or even the Wii might be getting Netflix soon. We now know that the PS3 rumor is true and it will be getting Netflix streaming next month.
The key difference between Xbox 360's online offering and PlayStation 3's is that PS3's online is free. Netflix support will not add a fee to your PS3 online. However, Netflix streaming is not yet ready to be a part of the PS3's operating system so you will need to use a disc to play your Netflix movies until some time next year.
Netflix's "watch instantly" selection is not as large as their DVD selection, but it still includes thousands of options. It can be utilized today on Xbox 360, PCs, and Roku.
