You've been patiently waiting through our E3 server troubles, and these screens are only part of the payoff for your patience.
As you can clearly see, returning characters from
Episode I have matured a bit and their new designs reflect that.
Episode II also features an improved complex battle system that utilizes team combination attacks, a refined boost system, double team attacks, and a zone attack/break system. But you're not actually reading this; you've already jumped down to the screens.

Tales of Symphonia (specifically, the press release) asks "How much are you willing to sacrifice for the chance to save your world?". In a dying village on Sylvarant, legend has it that a Chosen One will one day appear from amongst the people and the land will be reborn. A fully customizable character growth system will suit whatever fighting style you choose and the storyline will even change based on inter-character relationships. Also featuring cel-shaded graphics and high-quality Anime cut scenes by Kosuke Fujishima,
Tales of Symphonia is looking stellar on the GameCube. With the ability of having friends play along and a large variety of mini-games and side quests, hopefully it will meet its claim of over 80 hours of gameplay.

The story of
Baten Kaitos takes place at a time when lands exist in the sky and the once-vast oceans have become mere legend. Players will control a spirit that guides and advises Kalas throughout his journey and fights by his side. There are over 1000 types of Magnus cards, cards that capture the essence of items that can be used in combat and to solve puzzles. Magnus cards will also age through time: foods will ripen or rot, items will rust, gain or lose value with age.
